Damaged Products
Inspect your shipment upon arrival. Report any damage or shipping
related breakage immediately to the carrier.
Return Procedure
To return a core or part(s) please Click Here. We need your order
number, name, email address and the part number you wish to return
along with a detailed explanation of why you need to return it. If you
do not have your order number, please indicate when your order was
purchased and the full name ordered with.
All RA numbers are e-mailed in 2-3 business days with a return
shipping address and complete shipping instructions.
No returns will be accepted without an RA number. If the RA number is
not clearly written on the outside of the shipping box, we will not
accept it and it will be returned to you.
All returns must be postage paid; return shipping charges are not
refundable.
All returns must be packaged properly; we are not responsible for
damaged returns that occur as a result of improper packing.
Return Policy
Within 15 business days of placing your order from RMS Auto Parts
you may return any core or wrong part(s). No returns will be accepted
after 15 business days. All parts must be in their original condition,
in the original packaging and cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation. We
are not responsible for installation errors. We are not responsible
for any labor expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses that
occur as the result of the installation of any wrong or defective
parts.
Please Note: Service manuals, CD ROMs, special order products, and
Auto Body Parts are not returnable for any reason.
Electrical parts are not returnable for any reason.
All returns are subject to a non-refundable 15% restocking fee. A 15%
restocking fee is charged on all returns that are not the direct
result of our error.
Refunds
Refunds for returns or cores normally take 30 days to process and
credit from the date we receive your return at the warehouse.
Once the core or part is received we forward it to the manufacturer
for approval. The manufacturer will then approve your return.
Once the return has been approved and processed, the refund will be
credited to PayPal®
account you used to buy the merchandise.
You will receive "credit approved" e-mail the day you are credited.
Please be aware that your bank may take 4-7 business days to post the
credit to your account or credit card.
If after 30 days, you have still not received a credit please e-mail
the returns department rms@rmsautoparts.com, for the fastest
response.
Our Terms and Conditions:
You may return products within 15 business days of shipment for a
refund or replacement. All returns information is located above.
On orders shipped Overnight or 2Day, all shipping carriers reserve the
right to extend delivery time by 24 hours to residential deliveries.
This is beyond our control and air-shipping charges will NOT be
refunded for this reason.
Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for
missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Our warehouses put forth every
effort to prevent shipping damage however, it does occur occasionally.
If you receive a damaged part, do NOT accept the package, have the
shipper immediately return to sender. If the shipper has left a
damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and
have the package returned to sender.
We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after
15 business days, regardless of the party at fault. We must be
contacted immediately if any of the above occurs. We are also not
responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must
be processed through the shipping company.
Restricted Use Products:
Federal, State, County, City or other local
laws and codes may restrict the use of Emergency Vehicle Warning
Signals, Flashers or other products sold by RMS Automotive Supply,
LLC. Some products and color variations are for use by law
enforcement, fire, ambulance, EMS and volunteer personnel. Many items
are restricted for use in the USA only. By placing an order for a
restricted product, you are stating that you are an Authorized User or
Reseller of such products, and are authorized to make such a purchase
and that you are in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal laws
relating to the purchase, resale, export and/or use of that product.
RMS Automotive Supply, LLC. reserves the right to refuse to sell
certain products for export and/or domestic use. You further agree to
release RMS Automotive Supply, LLC. from any and all liability
associated with the use of products purchased. In addition, you
release RMS Automotive Supply, LLC. from any and all liability for the
use of purchased products.
Shipping
Shipping on initial order applies only to residents within the
Continental U.S. If you do not reside within the 48 continuous US,
please e-mail us for a shipping quote! Orders placed outside the
Continental U.S. without an email or phone quote for additional
shipping charges will be canceled and not shipped, your PayPal® Account
credit card will not be charged!
Our preferred shipping method is UPS Ground. We intend to get you
your parts quickly and accurately. We also offer Overnight
"Express Shipping" for when you need your parts as soon as possible
as well as Saturday Delivery (additional charges
apply). Most of our packages
require a signature for delivery. There may be occasions that we may elect to use
other shipping methods such as, UPS and U.S. Postal Service. Our goal
is to ship within 24 hours on business weekdays from the time
the order is placed and all the necessary information is received.
Holidays can interfere with normal shipping times. Your Purchase
Confirmation will be e-mailed to you.
NOTE: Crate Engine and other very large
shipments will be handled on a ground delivery basis. We will
contact you to arrange delivery.
Customers should thoroughly inspect the order upon delivery. If your
order arrives with obvious damage, you do have the option of
refusing the package and the shipping company will return the
merchandise to us at no charge to you. Upon receipt, we will ship
out a replacement order immediately. If you discover damage after
you already have accepted the delivery, simply call the shipper
(usually UPS®) and
file a damage claim. They will reimburse you for the value of the
damaged merchandise.
Do not accept delivery if the packaging shows evidence of damage or
mishandling. The product return policy will be void if you accept a
damaged package.
To assure the accuracy of each order, every order must go through a
series of check points prior to shipping. Once released, each package
is then carefully placed in the UPS, USPS or FedEx® Trucks for delivery.
When you place your order before 1:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday,
we make every effort to get your
order shipped that day.
Handling Charge
A $1.00 to $4.95 handling charge may be added to each order.
Backorder Policy
Occasionally a backorder will happen. Once in a while, the demand for
certain items may overwhelm the manufacturer's ability to keep us
supplied with adequate stock. In situations like this, we make every
effort to to cross-reference the part to a comparable manufacturer's
line. If cross-referencing is not an option, and you have to wait for
a part, we will let you know the estimated time of shipping.
