Thank you for participating in the RMS Trivia Contest!

Congratulations to Pete MacKenzie for being the first to correctly answer this months trivia question!

This months question was:

In 1985, GM created a chassis and partnered with another company to create an LLV.
What does LLV stand for and what was its primary use?

THE ANSWER IS:

LLV stands for Long Life Vehicle and was primarily used by the United States Postal Service for curbside residential mail delivery; though many LLV have been used by other package delivery services around the globe.

It features a right-handed driver's position, easy serviceability, handling in confined areas, and overall economical operation. As its name suggests, the LLV is made to last 20 years or more years of operation.

... unlike the GM of today where they want you to buy a new car every two to three years (LOL).
