What Has GM Discontinued This Month?

Customer Rides Douglas Davis' 1993 Camaro Z28

This is Douglas Davis' 1993 Camaro Z28. He has had the Camaro for about 14 months and had one that looked just like it for many years. He uses the car almost everyday. Douglas coaches soccer both for youth and he volunteers for the local high school team, The Ocosta Wildcats.

Douglas doesn't belong to any Camaro clubs but spends a lot of time on Camaro Forums and is known as Craby. You can visit his page at http://camaroforums.com/forum/member.php?u=16413. There are more pictures there and a thread on the build. Douglas has been working on building a motor for the last year and he is in the process of installing it.
The '93 Camaro is not like any other Camaro. There are so many parts that are not interchangeable it has made the job a bit difficult.

What has GM Discontinued this Month?

Part Number 26031605 Power Steering Pump Reservoir - This fits all '94-'96 B-bodies.

Part Number 15-33354 - A/C Evaporator Tube - This fits all '94 - '96 B-bodies.

Part Number 10119817 - Caprice Hood Ornament

Part Number 12557604 - Crankcase Vent Hose Assembly for the LT4

Part Number 10400399 - Brake Pedal Assembly - This fits T56 F-bodies.

Part Number 10109530 - Air Dam (Center) - This fits all '94 - '96 B-bodies. We have about 10 left that we found in the GM system.

Good News:

216-67 - LT4 Knock Module - Our industrious GM rep has located eight of the LT4 Knock Modules. These have been on national backorder since August of last year. These may be the last ones we can get as we have had no news from AC Delco that they will be brought back into production. This kind of backorder status usually foretells its demise. We have 4 left. If you need one, please email us or give us a call at (830) 214-0022 and we'll get you taken care of.

Answer: This question is a bit tricky... the answer is NONE. The Z06 and a few other GM cars have a keyless ignition system but still use a key to open the door.

Many of our customers were effected this past month by GM's slow response in getting parts to their customers. Because of this, some of you had to wait a lot longer than normal for you parts. We just want you to know that we do everything we can to get you the parts you need as quickly as possible. It seems this past month, GM has not cooperated with us in getting you your parts very quickly. We have had many discussions this past month with our GM rep and hopefully things will pick up shortly.
